I’m not sure at what age I started eating artichokes, but I know Debi didn’t have one until we were married. Toren’s a bit luckier. At 17 months he had his first artichoke. Here he is munching on his 3rd or 4th:
He knows how to dip them and usually orients them correctly (he doesn’t always – sometimes he gets the pointy end). He’ll eat about half an artichoke by himself!
