We were organizing Toren’s closet, where we store his diapers, and ended up with several empty boxes, which, of course, turned into toys for Toren. He proceeded to “hide” in this one:
Related to this, Toren did “disappear” one day. Debi was playing with him but came into the office for a minute to ask me something. By the time she went back to check on him (maybe a minute or so), he was gone. It took us a couple of minutes to track him down. He had gone into my closet, closed the door, and was actually waiting there very quietly. We have played hide-and-seek before and hid in the closet so he knows about hiding, but he usually can’t keep quiet and is easy to find. Not so this time.
