I found the world’s best umbrella at Target about 9 months ago. My former umbrella, one I bought on our trip to Japan in 2006, finally fell apart. So I went looking for an umbrella that is compact enough to fit in my backpack (you always carry an umbrella in Tampa) but that folded out to be quite large. I found the one pictured below, which is a really nice one. I was letting it dry in the house one day when Toren picked it up:
