I was putting on shoes while sitting on my bed one afternoon while Toren watched. On my night stand were my soccer cleats. Toren asked if I wanted to wear my cleats instead of my other shoes. When I told him that I only wore my cleats to play soccer, he said he wanted cleats. I then told him he was too little to have cleats, but when he got a little older and could play soccer on a team I’d buy him some. Here’s how he reacted:
