On the rare occasion that I buy artichokes, we now have a ritual for eating them. We lay out blankets in front of the TV, lay out the artichokes and various bowls, and have a little artichoke eating festival while we watch a video. In the clip below we were watching Star Trek (the original motion picture).
Toren doesn’t clean the leaves off all that well, so we give him a separate bowl to put his leaves in and then we take a stab at them.
