The third day on the cruise ship (second full day) was also a sea day, but it was a very scenic one as the ship went into Tracy Arm Fjord where we could see a glacier. We didn’t navigate into the Fjord until the afternoon, which meant we had time to participate in the Dr. Seuss parade on the ship in the morning.
Toren’s grandmother, Granmary, planned in advance for the parade and brought a number of costumes. Toren insisted he wanted to be one of the Things from the Cat in the Hat, but Debi’s twin brothers, Scott and Steve, were going to be Thing 1 and Thing 2, so Toren decided he wanted to be Thing 3. And that’s what he was:

The parade was from one end of the ship to the other, and ended in a theater where a Dr. Seuss show took place:
(Watch for the guy in the video who covers his face. I wonder what he is wanted for?!?)

After the parade we played a bit then had lunch, where Toren demonstrated a new french fry dipping technique:
After lunch, the ship entered Tracy Arm Fjord. Once we entered the Fjord, we spent most of the rest of the day outside on the decks looking at the amazing scenery:

I caught a couple instances of the glacier calving on film:
And here’s a waterfall from the beautiful Fjord:
