In March I traveled with a group of students to Oklahoma to volunteer during spring break. On the last day the volunteer trips typically include an excursion. While we were volunteering with the Cherokee Nation, which is closer to Tulsa, we decided to use our excursion day to travel to Oklahoma City to see the memorial there. It’s quite sobering what Timothy McVeigh did there – over 100 dead, with more than a dozen of them kids. The exhibit and memorial are very well done and well worth the time to visit them if you find yourself near Oklahoma City. Here are a couple of panoramas of the memorial I took while I was there:
