Utah Trip – December 27th
We got off to a slow start on the 27th – our sleep schedule was off most of the time we were in Utah, and Toren’s was all over the place. But in the afternoon we went to America’s Incredible Pizza Company, which is basically like Chuck-E-Cheese on steroids. Toren spent half the afternoon on the…

Utah Trip – December 26th
It snowed. It wasn’t mountains of snow, but enough to play in. Since Toren hadn’t seen snow, we bundled him up and went outside to play. We made a snow man: Here’s Toren sculpting the snowman: And the finished snowman: Here’s the snowman with its eye intact: And here’s a snow fort we made: Toren…

Utah trip – December 25th
We went back to Brent and Suzy’s house for Christmas morning and had another delicious meal, including chocolate peppermint pancakes. We then opened some presents. The hit was an insulated rolling bag Rosemary and Gary gave us for picnics and hikes. It was a hit because Toren decided it was his and he was ready…

Utah trip – December 24th
We’re back from Utah. It was almost two weeks, but seems like it was shorter as we did a lot in a short amount of time. Here’s the brief run down with pictures and videos… We flew out on the 24th, with a layover in Houston. Here’s Toren playing with a warning sign in the…

Toren and Debi dancing
In honor of her birthday today, here’s a video of Debi with Toren: The music they are dancing to is custom music that Debi’s parents bought for Toren. The songs dub in Toren’s name, so it is customized to him. He likes dancing to it, especially when Debi dances with him.

Toren on a big toy near our house
The day after Thanksgiving, while the hordes were attacking the stores, Toren and I went to a nearby park. Here is a clip of him going down the slide: My favorite part is his walk after the slide. He swings his left arm really far and fast. He only did that for a while and…

the Cozy Coupe
Toren received an early Christmas present from his Grandmary and Grandgary: his own Cozy Coupe. He’s quite the fan. Here he had parked in front of the TV like he was at a drive-in theater:

Toren popping bubbles
One of Toren’s favorite activities is popping bubbles (at least it was for a while). He even learned to say “bubbles” and would drag us into the bathroom to get the bubbles out of the closet on a nightly basis so we could blow bubbles for him to pop. Here he is attacking the bubbles…

Toren and Debi at Burger King
We occasionally eat at Burger King because they have vegetarian options (the BK Veggie is pretty good). We took Toren the other night and he loved the BK Veggie too: Though, in all honesty, he liked the shake more!

Toren eating an artichoke
I’m not sure at what age I started eating artichokes, but I know Debi didn’t have one until we were married. Toren’s a bit luckier. At 17 months he had his first artichoke. Here he is munching on his 3rd or 4th: He knows how to dip them and usually orients them correctly (he doesn’t…
