  • foot rides

Toren’s favorite activity these days is to walk.  He holds our fingers and walks all over the place.  He’s hilarious in how he goes about this.  When he is ready to walk, he puts his hands up near his ears, which is his way of communicating to us that he is ready for our fingers…

  • my toys hang from the ceiling

This is footage of Toren playing with one of his favorite toys, the ceiling fan controls in our office:

  • waving demon child

Toren started waving a few weeks before this, but we couldn’t ever catch him on film. I did this night, but it was so dark, I switched the camera to night mode and ended up turning Toren into a demon child (his eyes are creepy). Even so, he’s waving:

  • jumper fun

This is a clip of Toren actually enjoying his Johnny Jumper:

  • Debi dressed down

Debi put Toren down for bed this night but Toren wasn’t going to have any of it. In his best baby babble, he told her what he thought of being put to bed (turn your audio up, and no, there isn’t anything to see; it was too dark to film):

  • first tooth

Toren’s first tooth just broke through his gums.  It’s a front tooth on the bottom.  The other front teeth are close to breaking through, but have not yet.  Dang those buggers are sharp!

  • losing the battle to boogers

This was in the middle of Toren’s non-stop cold. We couldn’t wipe his nose fast enough and this time, wiping it just spread the boogers around:

  • chipmunk

This is a clip showing Toren storing food in his cheeks. You have to look closely, but he is storing food in his cheek: FYI, he doesn’t do this as often as he used to.

  • destructor-baby

When Toren gets tired, toys lose their appeal. He throws them to the side. You can see that in this video:

  • Toren spasm

While playing with toys, Toren will occasionally have weird spasms where he will kind of clench up and shake things. We caught one on film in this clip, though you can’t see it very well.
